Last Year, 2004:

Metal ArtTexas Metal Arts Festival-September 11th & 12th, was fun and wrought with lessons. Being a sponsor and participant for the Texas Metal Arts Festival I quickly learned how much work goes into making a show successful. Most of the participants were seasoned artist who have done great shows before, and I learned quite a bit from them. It was a successful show for me, and I enjoyed doing a T.V. spot on San Antonio's premier morning show to promote the festival.

zzzdogSleeping Dog Holiday Show-November 26th, 27th, & 28th. Another show where I learned a lot, hung out with fantastic people, celebrated the holidays, and just basically had a friggin blast. This year the group of artists involved changed the booth format a little, and since it was outside, we erected our booths in-between buildings and studios, making a "little villiage" appear. It was great fun.

Blue GenieBlue Genie Art Bazaar-December 12th to the 21st. This was the first year, in four, that I have not had any art in this show. I did, however, get to help put it together. I worked the show during it's run, and witnessed great acts of funness and hilarity among the Blue Genie Crew, as well as great art and cool folks participating in the show.

What's Coming Up?

2008

Eye of the Dog Art Center is underway, and our founders have decided on a plan we can all pivot from. Breaking ground on any project is both exciting and exhausting. With each new accomplishment, comes new ideas and realizations that are obscured until you act. Like finding a beautiful spring bubbling up from the ground after clearing some brush.

Within the year the school will be operating and having a more diverse selection of classes to offer. I'm excited about being involved and helping to establish this school.

end.
